Nursing Times, in partnership with Unison and the Florence Nightingale Foundation, has launched a campaign calling for consistent access to good-quality preceptorship for all newly registered nurses, midwives and nursing associates. As a result, the February 2022 issue of Nursing Times is dedicated to raising awareness of the need for better support for newly registered nurses across the UK. In support of the campaign, we reveal the findings of our preceptorship survey and the views and experiences of newly registered nurses and key stakeholders.

The clinical section, meanwhile, focuses on clinical supervision, looking at the role that it plays and how to deliver it in practice, and don’t miss the latest in our critical care series, which focuses on airway management.
